UCLA rallies to beat Spartans
NO. 2 UCLA 68, NO. 10 MICHIGAN STATE 63: Josh Shipp came off the bench to score 18 points as the Bruins rallied to defeat the Spartans. Kevin Love scored 21 points to lead UCLA, which trailed 36-25 at halftime. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute hit a three-pointer with 28 seconds left that clinched the victory. Drew Neitzel led Michigan State with 13 points.
INDIANA 95, NORTH CAROLINA-WILMINGTON 71: Eric Gordon scored 30 points, Armon Bassett had 19 and Jordan Crawford 15 as the Hoosiers (3-0) routed the Seahawks in Bloomington, Ind.
IOWA 65, MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE 48: Justin Johnson scored 19 points to spark the Hawkeyes.
NORTHWESTERN 95, BENEDICTINE 63: Craig Moore had 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists to lift the Wildcats.
PURDUE 66, LIPSCOMB 62: Scott Martin scored 16 points to lead the Boilermakers.
NO. 1 NORTH CAROLINA 110, SOUTH CAROLINA STATE 64: Tyler Hansbrough scored 26 points, and Wayne Ellington had 19 as the Tar Heels (3-0) routed the visiting Bulldogs.
NO. 3 MEMPHIS 84, ARKANSAS STATE 63: Willie Kemp scored 22 points, going 6-for-8 from three-point range, and Doneal Mack added 19 as the Tigers (5-0) beat the Indians in Memphis.
No. 11 MARQUETTE 91, OKLAHOMA STATE 61: Jerel McNeal had 20 points and Dominic James 18 as the Golden Eagles (4-0) breezed to the championship game of the EA SportsMaui Invitational in Lahaina, Hawaii.
NO. 13 DUKE 79, ILLINOIS 66: Gerald Henderson scored 23 points and DeMarcus Nelson added 16 to lead the Blue Devils to victory over the Illini in the semifinals of the EA Sports Maui Invitational
NO. 23 VIRGINIA 72, DREXEL 58: Sean Singletary had 24 points, seven rebounds and five assists as the Cavaliers won in Charlottesville, Va.
NO. 25 FLORIDA 102, NORTH FLORIDA 51: Marreese Speights had 20 points and 12 rebounds and Walter Hodge had 14 points as the Gators romped at home.
