Coty Watkins rushed for 94 yards and five scores, as St. Olaf defeated St. Thomas 54-28 in Northfield, Minn., on Saturday.
St. Olaf quarterback Matt Penz was 9-of-11 for 155 yards and a TD before leaving because of an injury midway through the second quarter.

Gustavus 37, Carleton 14: Jared Sieling and Joe Welch each returned an interception for a TD, and Greg Lane returned a kickoff 99 yards for a score to lead the host Gusties to victory in St. Peter, Minn.
Minn. Duluth 23, St. Cloud State 13: Britt Baumann kicked three field goals and Cole Strilzuk returned an interception 84 yards for a touchdown to lead the visiting Bulldogs to the victory.
N. Dakota 31, S. Dakota 27: Weston Dressler caught an 18-yard TD pass with 7:51 left, as the Sioux beat the host Coyotes.
MSU Mankato 48, W. Wash. 24: Ben King passed for 429 yards and five touchdowns to rally the Mavericks to the victory in Bellingham, Wash.
Neb.-Omaha 59, C. Wash. 21: The Mavericks completed their first undefeated regular season in 53 years with a victory in Ellensburg, Wash.
Mary 37, Northern State 13: Blair Sandy passed for 418 yards and four TDs for the Marauders' victory at the Dome.
MSU Moorhead 41, SW. Minn. 27: The Mustangs scored with 13:55 remaining to take a 27-13 lead, but the Dragons scored 28 consecutive points in the final 13:18 to rally for the victory at the Metrodome.
Winona State 59, Wayne State 34: Drew Aber passed for 255 yards and five TDs and Alex Wiese rushed for 313 yards and two scores, as the Warriors sealed the conference title with the victory at the Metrodome.
Wis.-Eau Claire 17, Wis.-Stout 14: Cory Sartorelli ran for a 2-yard touchdown with 1:24 left as the host Blugolds beat the Blue Devils.
Wis.-La Crosse 24, Wis.-Stevens Point 21: Griffin Moe passed for 173 yards and scored on a 1-yard touchdown plunge as the Eagles beat the visiting Pointers.
Wis.-Oshkosh 23, Wis.-River Falls 20: The Falcons scored a pair of TDs three minutes apart but weren't able to overcome a 16-point deficit, as the host Titans held on for the victory.
Wis.-Whitewater 21, Wis.-Platteville 7: The Warhawks scored a touchdown in each of the first three quarters, then held on to beat the visiting Pioneers.
S. Dakota State 52, Southern Utah 27: Tyler Koch returned two interceptions for TDs, including a school-record 99-yard return, as the host Jackrabbits rallied to beat the Thunderbirds.
N. Dakota State 31, Cal Poly 28: Kole Heckendorf's 80-yard touchdown reception with 38 seconds remaining lifted the visiting Bison to the victory in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
Macalester 37, Lawrence 30: Jacob McDonnell ran for 148 yards and two TDs to lead the Scots to the victory over the Vikings in St. Paul.
