A pair of Minnesota Senate hearings will be held over the next two weeks on the proposal for the state to help fund construction of a new Vikings stadium:
• 9 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Room 15 at the State Capitol. The topic is possible stadium sites, with proposals to build in Arden Hills as well as at several potential sites in Minneapolis.
• 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, also at Room 15. That hearing will focus on proposals to pay the state's share of the cost, including several gambling proposals as well as a sports memorabilia sales tax, NFL income tax surcharge and a sports ticket surcharge.
Both will include time for public testimony. NFL officials have been invited to testify Dec. 6.
