Chase Berger and Evan Barratt each had a goal and three assists and No. 9 Penn State scored three goals in each period in its 9-1 rout of No. 5 Notre Dame on Saturday night in State College, Pa.

The Nittany Lions (11-5-1, 3-4-1-1 Big Ten) gave up a goal 3 minutes, 35 seconds in, only to roll over the Irish (11-5-1, 5-3) after that. Alex Limoges scored on a shorthanded breakaway to tie the score, then scored again on a rebound to give Penn State a lead that just kept growing from there.

Alec Marsh also scored twice for Penn State, which went 3-for-4 on the power play.

Wisconsin 3, Michigan State 0: Sean Dhooghe and K'Andre Miller each had a goal and an assist as the host Badgers (8-7-3, 4-3-3) shut out the Spartans (6-9-1, 2-5-1).


Denver 2, North Dakota 1 (OT): Jarid Lukosevicius scored on a deflection with 21.2 seconds left in overtime, giving the No. 6 Pioneers (8-4-2, 4-4 NCHC) a series split with the host Fighting Hawks (9-7-1, 3-5).

St. Cloud State 7, Nebraska Omaha 1: Blake Lizotte scored twice and the second-ranked Huskies (13-1-2, 6-0-2) routed the Mavericks (4-10-2, 2-5-1) for a series sweep in St. Cloud.

Minnesota Duluth 1, Western Michigan 1: The host Broncos (9-6-1, 4-3-1) got an extra point in the standings by winning a shootout over the No. 4 Bulldogs (10-4-2, 4-3-1).


Alabama Huntsville 4, Bemidji State 2: Bauer Neudecker and Cam Knight scored 38 seconds apart early in the third period as the Chargers (2-14, 2-8 WCHA) came back vs. the host Beavers (7-7-2, 5-4-1).

Minnesota State 6, Alaska Anchorage 0: Marc Michaelis had two goals and an assist for the No. 3 Mavericks (14-2, 9-1) vs. the visiting Seawolves (1-12-1, 0-9-1).
