Bemidji State drew 62,847 fans this its 16 home hockey games at the new Sanford Center. That's an average of 3,928 fans per game.
Both Gophers games last weekend were sellouts with crowds of 4,373.
Last season, attendance at the John Glas Fieldhouse, a much smaller building, was 36,847, so attendance increased 25,641.
The Sanford Center is a comfy, classy building. A nice place to see a hockey game.
