Motorists will encounter a five-hour closure on the ramp leading from eastbound I-94 to southbound I-35W from midnight to 5 a.m. Wednesday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
One lane leading from 12th Street and 4th Avenue S. to southbound I-35W also will be closed during the same hours MnDOT said.
During the closure, drivers on I-94 will be directed to northbound I-35W to Washington Avenue. Motorists can then access southbound I-35W at Washington Avenue.
The closure is part of work connected to the I-35W@94 Downtown to Crosstown project.
