Even after five wild pitches, the Brewers still managed a 5-3 victory Wednesday night with John Axford striking out Justin Morneau to end the game for the second night.
The Twins will look to avoid the sweep this afternoon in Milwaukee at 1pm with Nick Blackburn taking the hill against right-hander Yovanni Gallardo, who is winless with a 6.00 ERA in one career start against Minnesota. Meanwhile, Blackburn is 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA in three lifetime starts against the Brewers. The Twins righty has had a pretty crappy month so far, surrendering 20 runs on 32 hits over just 15 innings for a 12.00 ERA. No time like the present to turn it around!
Besides it would be awesome if Minnesota could get the win for the sake of everyone at Miller Park on the TwinsTrain today.
- How well would Cliff Lee fit in with the Twins rotation?
- Check out Kyle Waldrop at Twinkie Town.
- Ugh, Johan Santana.

- Also, everyone and their mother has sent the Susan Finkelstein story my way, which I love. Keep the emails coming! However, since it is most likely inappropriate to post here, I'll just let Deadspin tell you about the whole ordeal.
