Ryt-way Industries of Lakeville issued a recall of some packages of BIGS Original Salted and Roasted Sunflower Seeds, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Wednesday. It was discovered the product contains dairy and package labeling does not reveal that presence. The packages subject to recall are 5.35 ounce plastic bags with "best by" dates of May 30, 2011 and May 31, 2011. The UPC code is 896887002196. The sunflower seeds were distributed nationwide to supermarkets, convenience stores and military commissaries. The FDA urges consumers who are allergic to dairy to return the product to the store for a refund. If you have questions, call 1-877-722-7556.
