Her mom felt a twinge as the soft curls hit the floor, but 8-month-old Maggie Lund met the scissors with a smile. "She was born with a whole head of hair," said her mother, Sarah. But now it was time to trim back. The whole family, including big sister Lucy, 21/2, watched as stylist Kim Emanuel combed and clipped at Snip-its in Maple Grove. "We were a little nervous that she'd scream and cry," Sarah said. But in the end it was Mom who might have shed a tear: "It's a little sad because she's growing up." A lock of Maggie's hair went home with the Lund family as a memento.
