The Timberwolves today waived Alando Tucker.

He played just 24 minutes in parts of four games after being acquired from Phoenix in December in a deal that was all about getting a second-round pick and cash.

Why now? Not sure, waiting to hear back from David Kahn on that one before tonight's game against Toronto at Target Center.

Also, expect the Wolves to bring back Brian Cardinal in time for the upcoming trip to Charlotte and Orlando.

The team didn't need to waive Tucker to make room. They were at 14 players anyway after waiving Mark Blount three weeks ago.

One other thing:

The team announced it has sold out its premium Loge Box seats and Club Cambria seats and its Courtside Club -- seats nearest the court -- is nearly 85 percent sold.

Their "Run with the Pack" discounted ticket campaign for next season runs through the end of the month.
