Glitches at stadium being addressed

  • September 17, 2009 - 10:06 PM

After some glitches were reported at TCF Bank Stadium during last week's grand opening, athletic director Joel Maturi spent the week trying to iron those snags out.

Those problems included long lines to get into the stadium, long waits at concession stands and problems with shuttles heading toward the St. Paul campus after the game.

"We expect people being able to get into the stadium more efficiently," Maturi said. ''We expect the concessions to go better. And we expect those leaving for St. Paul to get there more efficiently."

Maturi said an e-mail was sent out to all season ticket-holders advising them which gate to enter, information that isn't on the tickets this year. Two more gates will be opened this week, and there will be express lines for people who aren't carrying anything in.
