Heat advisory is issued for Twin Cities area

The National Weather Service office in Chahassen has issued a heat advisory for Hennepin and Ramsey Counties that is scheduled to be in effect from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. today.
The heat index is expected to reach 95 by late this morning and rise as high as 100 to 105 degrees during the afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to be in the mid to upper 90s.
