Man shot, killed in Hopkins

A dispute between two groups of people at a fast-food restaurant in Hopkins early this morning ended when a gunman fired shots that killed a 24- year-old man, reports say.

Police have two suspects but have not released their identities, according to KSTP-TV.

According to the station, two groups of people began arguing and fighting in the parking lot of  a White Castle in the 500 block of Blake Road  at about 2 a.m. when shots were fired hitting the victim.

The crowd scattered but police later took two men into custody but continued to look for other suspects, KSTP said.

No other information about the victim is available.
