5:50 a.m. update: Downtown freeway ramp blocked by fallen light pole

A vehicle struck a light pole on the ramp from eastbound I-94 to southbound I-35W in downtown Minneapolis. The fallen light pole is blocking the ramp and traffic is backing up onto 94. Some drivers are cutting through the median to get around the problem.
