Fall lawn care

The workshop is designed as a Q&A format, so bring your questions. It will be offered Saturdays at 10 a.m., through Sept. 20. Gertens is at 5500 Blaine Av., Inver Grove Heights.

Protecting pollinators

Heading to the State Fair? The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is inviting fairgoers to stop by its booth and make a "Pollinator Promise" to help protect bees and other pollinating insects. It's part of the department's new public awareness campaign, "Protect Minnesota Pollinators." The booth is in the Ag/Hort building.
