On tap in Roseville

This week Roseville got its new old taproom back. We'll explain. Earlier this year, Bent Brewstillery announced a merger with Roseville's Pour Decisions Brewing Co., where Bent was being brewed. The plan was to reopen the taproom under the Bent Brewstillery name after significant renovations. On Thursday, the combo brewery and distillery debuted its new-look beer hall (no spirits yet). Outpost vodka

Last week, northeast Minneapolis' Wander North Distillery launched its Outpost vodka made with Minnesota corn. Founder Brian Winter, a National Guard vet, hopes to collaborate with local breweries as his whiskey dreams come true, and a cocktail room is in the works. Until then, check the website to register for Saturday tours and tastings.

Fitzgerald gin

In other booze news, Du Nord Craft Spirits releases its Fitzgerald gin this weekend. At least the first version. The south Minneapolis distillery plans to release three different gin formulas — the first being a London dry style — and allow patrons to sample and vote on their favorite in Du Nord's forthcoming cocktail room. The winner will be crowned the official Fitzgerald gin next spring.
