Here comes yet another north metro road with constrction. This time it's Hodgson Road.

Ramsey County will begin a resurfacing project that will have the road also known as County Road 49 closed from Wednesday through Aug. 29 between County Road J and South Birch Lane.

During the closure, commuters are advised to use Lexington Avenue as a north-south alternate and connect to Hodgson Road via County Road J on the north end and County Hwy. 96 on the south.

The project consists of removing the existing surface and constructing a new bituminous pavement.

In a news advisory, the county said it has "determined that it is necessary to close the road during the work for the safety of motorists and construction workers."
