Kreyer is human resources director

The St. Louis Park School District has selected Richard Kreyer as its director of human resources.

Kreyer comes to the district from Minneapolis public schools, where he was executive director of human resource operations.

He has also worked in health care and labor relations.

He holds a master's degree in industrial relations with an MBA concentration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the U.

Kreyer also currently serves as an adjunct faculty member in Metropolitan State University's College of Management, teaching strategic human resource management and labor relations courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

He will begin working for the district on July 28.

Wayzata

School foundation slates fundraiser

The Wayzata Public Schools Education Foundation golf tradition continues with an 18-Hole Best Ball Scramble at the Wayzata Country Club on Sept. 15.

There will be a chance to win a hole-in-one car, putting contest prizes, a general drawing for prizes and appetizers following the event.
