DULUTH – Police have arrested a third man who escaped from the Northeastern Minnesota Regional Corrections Center last week.
Officers found 22-year-old Tyler Sandstrom at a home in Duluth and arrested him without incident Wednesday. His 21-year-old girlfriend was arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting escape.
Sandstrom was the last of the three escapees who was still at large.
Eveleth police say 24-year-old Ryan Locke was arrested over the weekend and 25-year-old Anthony Kozar, who had been in the minimum security prison on a probation violation, was arrested Sunday after a five-hour standoff in Eveleth.
