Here are three thoughts following the Twins' 5-0 loss to Texas

I BELIEVE THAT YU WILL WIN: Very impressive today. Twins hitters kept chasing pitches out of the zone - several were tough to lay off of - and once that happened Darvish was head in the count early and had all his weapons at his disposal to finish off Twins hitters. "He's one of those guys you never know what is coming and he has plus stuff to go along with it," Twins second baseman Brian Dozier said. "Sometimes you can predict what's coming and cheat to some stuff but you never know with him what is coming."

JUST START POLANCO: Jorge Polanco struck out looking in a pinch-hitting appearance in the eighth inning. The Twins are concerned about his erratic arm and positioning problems in the infield, making them reluctant to give him a start. I think they should. He could use the experience, and he's going back to Fort Myers after the game. Free Jorge Polanco!

MAY ON DISABLED LIST: Class AAA righthander Trevor May has been placed on the seven-day disabled list because of a sore right calf. He last pitched a week ago at Buffalo, giving up three runs over five innings. The Twins believe the injury is not serious, and signs point to him being able to pitch in the Futures Game next month. May is 8-4 with a 2.94 ERA and should get a look by the Twins sometime during the second half.
