Keeping tabs on Tuesday's morning commute

Good morning, commuters!

We'll see what another day of flood-related closures brings on Hwys. 101 and 41 in the southwest metro bring in terms of traffic on Hwy. 169 and I-35W, but if today is like Monday getting across the Minnesota River won't be pleasant.  Unfortunately, there are not a lot of river crossings or alternates to take.

On a better note, the Lowry Hill Tunnel is looking a bit cleaner after last night's tunnel washing. All lanes are back open in I-94 in both directions.

A crash is blocking a lane in the work zone on southbound 35E in St. Paul. The wreckage is at Roselawn Avenue.  That is in a tough spot since the freeway is reduced to two lanes in that area.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
