Another Round. NWS Doppler radar at 11:15 AM shows more heavy T-storms approaching the west metro, where 3-6" of rain fell in the last 24-36 hours, much of it overnight. These storms are moving very slowly, which will increase rainfall amounts and the potential for additional street, stream and basement flooding. If you live in or near an area that has already been impacted by flooding stay alert and be ready to move to safety as waters rise.
* a weather observer near Belle Plain, in Sibley County, reports 5.33" of rain so far.
