APRIL 21

Neighbor dispute. The Sheriff's Office was called about a situation on Olson Lake where one property owner's dock wraps around a neighbor's dock, making it difficult to access. Authorities were unable to find a legal remedy. The property owner whose dock is blocked also reported someone banging on the side of their home at night saying "I'm going to get you."

APRIL 24

Damage to farm field. A truck was observed driving in circles in a field in the area of Kimbro Avenue and 47th Street. A deputy contacted the driver, who agreed to contact the field's owner about repairing any damage.

LAKELAND

APRIL 20

Suspicious situation. A woman vomiting outside a vehicle and then falling asleep in the back seat was reported in the 100 block of Quehl Avenue. She registered a .00 on a PBT and told a deputy she'd find a better place to take a nap.

APRIL 21

Suspicious activity. A machete and beer cans were reported near a truck with a door left open that was parked behind a building in the 3000 block of Century Avenue.

APRIL 25

Suspicious activity. A deputy picked up two juveniles from a ditch at 6:15 a.m. in the area of Olinda Trail and 170th Street. The juveniles said they'd been left there eight hours earlier and hadn't been able to get a ride home. Their parents were contacted and came to pick them up.

OAKDALE

APRIL 20

Animal complaint. An officer was sent to the 5300 block of Heath Avenue on a report of a dead turkey. It appeared the turkey had flown into the front of the house. The bird was disposed of by Public Works.

APRIL 21

Suspicious activity. A driver jumped a curb while leaving the Taco John's drive thru, 1010 Gershwin Ave., after paying but without her food. An officer located the vehicle in the driveway of the registered owner but did not make contact.

APRIL 25

Suspicious activity. Someone called police after seeing a man on a bike towing a lawn mower at 5:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of Hwy. 36 Boulevard. The caller said the man jumped off the bike and ran away upon seeing him. An officer checked the area but was unable to locate the man or the lawn mower.

STILLWATER

APRIL 27

Suspicious activity. The driver of a vehicle parked at a pump at Kwik Trip, 3550 Settlers Way, for 30 minutes told authorities he had lost track of time while talking to a family member on a cellphone. He bought gas and left.

WOODBURY

APRIL 26

Suspicious activity. A man reportedly set up a tight rope between two trees at Tamarack Nature Preserve, 1825 Tower Drive, and proceeded to walk barefoot on the rope. The activity drew the attention of small children in the area and the man then helped some of them attempt to walk on the tight rope. The complainant said she stayed at the park until all the children had left and then called the police. By the time the area was checked, the man was gone.

APRIL 27

Suspicious activity. A fire pit, a cooler, several 5-gallon buckets and a rake were found in the woods near a path and close to homes in the area of Woodduck Place and Woodduck Drive. Public Works was contacted to remove the items.
