On if he thinks he can help at linebacker immediately
Yes, sir. I feel that I could step in. I bring a lot of athleticism and instincts for getting to the ball. I can bring a lot to the team, special teams, anything they need so I can step in and contribute right away.
On what it was like waiting to be selected
It is frustrating especially when you play against some of the people and you know you are a better player than them, but you can’t let it get to you. I feel like God put me in the best situation that he wanted me in, and I am moving forward from there and work as hard as I can.
On if it’s exciting to see the Vikings selecting a lot of young defensive players in the draft
Yeah it is. It is going to be a new place for all of us. With a lot of new players on defense it will help you adjust better, and work harder because you have people just like you. Then try to get after it, and to contribute the best way you can.
