Country comforts

I hopped off the "Nashville" train a few months ago, but the drama, which airs its season finale tonight, still churns out great soundtracks, a rare feat for a TV series. It might be worth putting up with the overabundance of hissy fits just to check out the latest tunes. 9 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5

Dam important

The solution to global warming might rest with a bunch of large rodents. "Leave It to Beavers," an installment of "Nature," looks at how the animals can be critical allies for humans, especially when it comes to finding water in dry areas. Even Eddie Haskell would have to offer his sincere gratitude. 7 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2

Two to tango

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore seem to be emulating the team of William Powell and Myrna Loy. "Sandmore" just released their third collaboration, "Blended." Before heading out to theaters to catch it, enjoy 2004's "50 First Dates," a very sweet comedy in which Sandler wisely takes a backseat to his charming co-star. 9:05 p.m., Encore
