Lynx power forward and co-captain Rebekkah Brunson had surgery on her right knee Tuesday morning and is expected to be sidelined at least two months. This is yet another injury setback for the Lynx, who open their season at Washington on Friday.
The defending WNBA champs had already lost top backup guard Monica Wright and top backup forward Devereaux Peters, both of whom had arthroscopic procedures on their left knees. Both are expected to miss at least the first six games.
