Driver charged for crashing into grocery store

A St. Paul man, upset that the driver in front of him was driving too slowly, rammed the car and then lost control and crashed into a St. Paul grocery store, according to charges filed Monday.
Rachad D. Bizzell, 32, faces one count of first-degree driving while impaired in Ramsey County District Court. According to the complaint: Bizzell was traveling south on Rice Street about 8:15 p.m. Saturday. He rear-ended a car twice and then crashed into the Winnipeg Grocery at 864 Rice St.
Bizzell was questioned at the scene and admitted to rear-ending the car because it was traveling too slow, the charges said.Bizzell said he wasn’t on medication and hadn’t been drinking, but appeared confused and incoherent, the charges said. Bizzell’s criminal record includes two felony convictions for DWI and five drug-related convictions.
