Things were no different in the Twins clubhouse this morning than other parts of the Twin Cities, its environs, the state, heck, a chunk of the Upper Midwest.

Everyone felt the Wild were hosed last night.

``I almost broke my TV," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said.

Twins players couldn't believe the calls, but they can't wait until tomorrow's Six Game. About a dozen players are going to the game.

That's the highlight of the morning. Twins-Tigers game was washed out because of rain and a stiff wind.. It's 1:12 p.m. as I write this, the wind sound like it's blowing 30 miles an hour as it cuts through the gaps in the glass windows in the press box. Pools of water are forming on the warning track. Good call to bang this game.

Heard that Aug. 23 is a potential makeup date, although Detroit visits in September too.

Kyle Gibson was supposed to start today but will now start on Tuesday when the Twins open a three-game series against the Dodgers. The rest of the rotation will be pushed back a day. Since the game is not until Tuesday, Gibson threw in the bullpen for a few minutes on Sunday to make sure he stayed sharp.

Oswaldo Arcia was 3-for-3 in his first rehab game last night at Class AAA Rochester. He's back in the lineup today. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire would like to see Arcia get 30-40 at-bats with the Red Wings before returning to the Twins.

Josh Willingham's wrist is still sore, right where the knob of the bat digs into his hand when he swings. But Gardenhire doesn't think Willingham is too far off from being able to start hitting.

Although the game was washed out, several players remained at the ballpark until the early afternoon. Some worked out. Some hit in the batting cages. A few played cards.
