High school league official asks about reaction 'when the first prep athlete' comes out

John Millea, the former Star Tribune reporter and editor who now works as a media specialist for the Minnesota State High School League, tweeted this in response to the news that University of Massachusetts basketball player Derrick Gordon's announcement Wednesday that he is gay.
The tweet also makes reference to Michael Sam, the University of Missouri football player who is likely to be drafted next month by the NFL.
