Good morning, commuters!

Or shall I say bad morning. The roads are snow covered and slippery, and another three inches of the white stuff will fall through 10 a.m. Drive times are likely to be double and triple the norm.

Already we've had a number of spinouts and crashes, so use extreme caution as you head out. This would be a good day to stay home or go in late.

Metro Transit is telling riders to take earlier trips as buses will likely run late as the rush hour goes on.

Here are a couple trouble spots at this hour:
Crash on eastbound 94 at 95th Avenue has the left lane blocked.

Crash is blocking the ramp from eastbound 494 at East Bush Lake Road in Bloomington.

Crash on wesbound 394 at Hopkins Crossroad in Minnetonka.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
