Zipcar has brought its car sharing program to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the company announced Tuesday.

As part of its arrival at the airport, the company is offering cars for as little as $9 per hour and $50 per day. Zipcar pays the parking fees. Inside each Zipcar is a parking pass to get you in and out of the lots, a company spokeswoman said.

"It's a great option for business travelers who need to zip in and out of town for a quick meeting or two," a news release said. "Members can go right up to their car, swipe in and drive away, no waiting in lines, no filling out tons of paperwork and no extra fees."

With its arrival at MSP, the car sharing service is now available at more than 30 airports nationwide and at airports in Toronto, Canada and in London.

Earlier this year, Zipcar gained permission from Minneapolis city officials to park vehicles curbside in several locations throughout the city. They are now available in the Wedge, Dinkytown, Uptown, Loring Park, the North Loop, Stadium Village and Downtown neighborhoods.
