Uneventful, that's how Friday's rush hour played out as light levels of traffic and few crashes led to a smooth commute across the metro.

A late-morning wreck on westbound 94 at Hiawatha Avenue was the one exception. The accident that occurred about 10 minutes ago is taking out three lanes and features debris scattered all over. Traffic is getting by only in the far left lane. Expect delays beginning at Riverside Avenue.

In the north metro, a semi lost it on westbound 694 at Hwy. 10 and is sitting partially in the ditch on the right.

No major jams formed on mainline roads. A minor jam did develop around 7 a.m. on southbound 35E near County Road H2 where there was a three vehicle wreck.

Transit ran on time and mainline roads ran at close to posted speeds for the majority of the rush. That made for nice travel times.

I'll be back Monday with more live blogging of your drive to work. In the meantime, enjoy the warmth this weekend. And feel free to submit your traffic questions to drive@startribune.com.
