A body found along a road east of St. Cloud was identified Wednesday as a 31-year-old man from Foley, Minn., who had been missing since December.
Midwest Medical Examiners identified the body as Jamie Wylie but have not yet determined the cause and manner of death, according to a statement from the Benton County Sheriff's Office.
The body was discovered Tuesday afternoon on the side of County Road 75 between Mayhew Lake Road and East St. Germain Street. Investigators shut down the road while they searched and collected evidence in the area. It has since been reopened.
"Nothing at the scene indicated that there was any immediate danger to the public," the Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
