Traffic has been absolutely awful on eastbound 94 from Albertville to the Fish Lake Interchange in Maple Grove all morning. It's still a 40-minute trip even though all crashes and spinouts have cleared. Westbound drivers need to be wary of icy conditions and a crash on the right shoulder at Hwy. 101.
Commuters on the Crosstown are moving at a snail's pace from Hiawatha Avenue over to Hwy. 169. That is now at 23 minutes.
Southbound 169 is seeing lots of resistance from 109th Avenue in Champlin down to 394 in Golden Valley. Northbound creeps along from Canterbury Road up to Valley View Road with more stagnation approaching 394. Plan on 20 to 25 mintues from 494 to 394.
In the east metro, 694 in both directions between 35E and 494/94 in Woodbury is sluggish with 15 to 22 minutes needed there.
The log jam on northbound 35E is making the trip from County 42 in Burnsville to downtown St. Paul a 40 minute ride.
