Maria in the morning

Fox Business Network starts finding out if its “big steal” from CNBC will pay off with the debut of “Opening Bell With Maria Bartiromo,” a weekday program hosted by one of the more respected journalists in the financial world. 8 a.m., FBN

The sing-off

The real question facing “The Voice” this time around is not who will end up as the winner or how Shakira and Usher will do as coaches (they proved themselves last year). No, this time the issue is just how much damage can they do to “American Idol” when they go up against each other on Tuesday. “Idol” has steadied itself after a shaky start, so it’s likely both shows can survive the competition. 7 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11

Texas style

Can Southfork stay in operation without J.R. Ewing? This will the first full season of “Dallas” without the late Larry Hagman, and the soap is bound to lose some of its strut. Hopefully, young Josh Henderson learned enough from the master to take over as the man you love to hate. Former “90210” standout AnnaLynne Cord joins the cast. 8 p.m., TNT
