Land owned by the Star Tribune was sold for $38.5 million, according to certificates of real estate value filed with the Minnesota Department of Revenue Wednesday.

Four blocks were sold to Minneapolis developer Ryan Cos. for $30.8 million, a fifth block slated to become a parking ramp was sold for $7.7 million to the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, the public body overseeing construction of the $1 billion Vikings stadium.

The land sale was announced on Tuesday. The land is slated to become a $400 million mixed-use project that includes two office towers for 5,000 workers at Wells Fargo & Co., a public park, 200 apartments, and restaurants and retail shops. The 1,610-space ramp will be used by office workers, members of the public and stadiumgoers.
