A snowmobiler struck a truck backing out of a driveway over the weekend in Wright County and was killed, authorities said Monday.
The collision occurred about 2:10 p.m. Saturday at 13788 County Road 75 NW. in Silver Creek Township, just northwest of Monticello and parallel to Interstate 94, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Killed on the westbound snowmobile was Jeffrey Waldstein, 34, of Monticello, the Sheriff's Office said.
The truck was being driven by Garhard Hendricks, 27, of Long Prairie, Minn. He was not hurt.
