Wolves starting center Nikola Pekovic tweaked his right Achilles tendon midway through the first quarter of Monday's game against Chicago at the United Center.
Quickly replaced by Ronny Turiaf, Pekovic is listed as doubtful to return. It is the first injury for Pekovic this season.
The injury came in a fight for a rebound under the Chicago Bulls' basket. Pekovic left the game with one point and one rebound.
And that means tonight's game will be played largely without either starting center; Bulls center Joakim Noah missed the game with an illness.
