MILWAUKEE — Another blast of arctic air has arrived in Wisconsin, pushing temperatures down into the double digits below zero.
The numbing temperatures along with northwest winds require extra precautions by those heading outdoors Tuesday. Wind chill temperatures have dropped to 20 and 30 degrees below zero Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service issued a wind chill advisory because frostbite can occur on exposed skin in as little as 20 minutes.
Temperatures without the wind chill factor are 25 below in Siren, 24 below in Hayward and 10 below in Green Bay and Stevens Point.
