If only every morning rush hour could be like this one. Traffic hummed along on most major routes and commuters faced few delays.

One occurred on southbound 35W for about an hour as a stall at Lake Street had traffic backed up to near Hennepin Avenue. That cleared about 8:30 a.m. Currently MnDOT is doing snow removal on the Washington Avenue bridge so look for the right shoulder to be blocked.

Crashes on 494 at the Minnesota River bridge on the westbound side created delays for drivers in Eagan. That also has cleared.

Eastbound Hwy. 55 drivers are caught in a slow down near the Federal Building at Fort Snelling. A medical emergency is in progress.

No traffic reports again until Monday. On Saturday, be ready for a snow event in the morning that could make roads dicey.

And in Lakeville today, power line work will have a lane closed on I-35 in the area of 210th Street. Look for lane closures until 1 p.m. today.

The northbound lanes of Hwy. 52 over the Lafayette Bridge will be closed from Concord to Plato Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
