A much more specific description was released Thursday of the pickup truck that hit and killed two men in a western Wisconsin hit-and-run over the weekend.

The pickup suspected of hitting Richard L. Cobenais Jr., 41, who lived near Luck, Wis., and Benjamin R. Juarez, 28, of Frederic, Wis. is a Ford F150, mostly or fully black and ranging in model year from 1997 to 2003, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said. Authorities have said the pickup had an extended cab with auxiliary amber lighting on top.

The new description was possible, the Sheriff's Office said, because of evidence left at the scene. That evidence points to the pickup, occupied by two men, having damage to the passenger-side headlight assembly area.

The Sheriff's Office also announced Thursday a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver. Anyone with information should call 1-715-485-8300.

Cobenais and Juarez were struck and killed shortly after 6:30 p.m. Saturday along County Road E, northeast of Balsam Lake. Cobenais and Juarez were at a home, then involved in a fight that spilled into the road, authorities said.
