Two males fighting on the street were killed Saturday in Polk County, Wis., when they were struck by a pickup that then sped off.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the pickup truck and its two occupants.

The male victims were struck about 6:30 p.m. on the Round Lake Native American Community. Their identities were not released Saturday.

According to a news release from the Sheriff's Office: The victims were involved in a physical altercation at a nearby house. The fight spilled onto County Hwy. E. in northeastern Polk County.

The southbound pickup struck them shortly afterward.

The pickup is described as dark-colored, possibly a Ford, might have two auxiliary amber warning lights mounted on the top of the cab. The truck is likely damaged in the front, particularly the undercarriage.

The Sheriff's Office said two males were in the truck at the time. The pickup stopped briefly after the accident before fleeing southbound.
