Spirit in the night

Bruce Springsteen fans have high hopes for this week’s edition of “The Good Wife” (8 p.m. Sunday, WCCO, Ch. 4), which will feature three songs from the Boss’ upcoming album. The only thing that could be better is if Archie Panjabi’s stiff character loosens up with an unbridled rendition of “Hungry Heart.”

Who’s in charge?

John Wells, currently getting strong reviews for directing “August: Osage County,” helmed and wrote the Season 4 premiere of “Shameless” (8 p.m. Sunday, Showtime). He’s not the only big name behind the camera this season. Mimi Leder (“Deep Impact”) and Pete Segal (“Anger Management”) direct future installments.
