Keeping tabs on Friday's morning commute

Good morning, commuters!
It will feel warm when you step outside this morning as temperatures are near 20 degrees, that is above zero. And the mercury is expected to rise to near the freezing mark, according to meteorologist Paul Douglas.
The bad news is that overnight a light dusting of snow fell in parts of the metro and it was enough to create wet roads and leave behind a few slick spots. We also have fog in some areas. MnDOT is rating roads as being in fair winter driving condition.
So far we are crash and incident free.
I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.
If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
