2003-04 – Defensive line coach for the 49ers
2005-06 – Defensive line coach for the Dolphins
2007-08 – Defensive line coach for the Jets
2009-10 – Assistant head coach/defensive line coach for the Seahawks
2013 – Defensive coordinator for the Seahawks
Quinn returned to the NFL after spending two seasons as defensive coordinator at the University of Florida (2011-12). He coached defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd during his time in Florida, where the Gators had a top 10 defensive nationally during his time.
Quinn previously spent two seasons with the Seahawks under Jim Mora and Pete Carroll as assistant head coach/defensive line coach. He’s credited with helping Red Bryant shift from defensive tackle to end in 2010. Bryant has missed just one game in the last three seasons.
Seattle’s defense led the league in yards allowed (273.6), passing yards allowed (172) and points allowed (14.4) in his first season as a defensive coordinator in the NFL this season.
Quinn was a defensive lineman at D-III Salisbury University in Maryland and participated in track and field.
