Hollywood designer to speak at St. Norbert's

DE PERE, Wis. — A Hollywood designer, digital artist and author will speak at St. Norbert College's spring graduation.

Chris Ayers (AIRS) is a 1997 graduate of St. Norbert College.

His first work in movie design was on the 2000 film "Bubble Boy."

Since then, Ayers has amassed 26 film credits and has written four "Daily Zoo" books. They were created as a result of Ayers' fight with a blood cancer. He donates a portion of book sales to cancer-related charities and research.

Ayers other credits include "Men In Black II," ''Austin Powers in Goldmember," ''The Santa Clause 2," "Star Trek," ''Incredible Hulk" and "Zookeeper."

The commencement is May 18. He will also receive the President's Medal.
