Today is Christmas Eve and all public transit providers are operating, but most are running a reduced schedule. Demand is lower on holidays, so some routes won't run and others will run less frequently.
Metro Transit will follow Saturday schedules and express routes that don't normally operate on Saturday will have limited service. A list of holiday schedule changes for all metro transit providers is listed here.
The Northstar Commuter line will run three more trips from Big Lake to Minneapolis. Departures from Big Lake will be at 6:21 a.m., 7:21 a.m. and 1:06 p.m. Trips from Target Field Station will depart at Target Field Station at 6:13 a.m., and noon, 2:00 and 3:57 p.m.
The Cedar Avenue Red Line BRT and the Metro Blue Line will operate as normal.
Minnesota Valley Transit, Maple Grove Transit, BlueXpress and SouthWest Transit are running reduced bus schedules.
Plymouth Metrolink will operate weekday routes as usual.
