A Fox Xmas eve

Celebrate the holidays with the "Fox & Friends Christmas" (7 p.m., Fox News), in which the morning crew wishes season's greetings and welcomes guests Jeff Dunham, Leona Lewis and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. If this goes over well, maybe the "60 Minutes" crew will start a tradition of door-to-door caroling.

Return to Bedford Falls

Every time NBC airs 1946's "It's a Wonderful Life" (7 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11), an angel gets her wings. It's one of those movies you can watch over and over again without tiring, thanks to a tailor-made performance by James Stewart, who is arguably the greatest actor in Hollywood history.

Up past his bedtime

David Letterman gives an old pal the ultimate gift by taking the night off and letting Regis Philbin take over late-night duties. "A New York Christmas to Remember" (10:35 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) may not feature a Top 10 list, but it will feature puppets from the Henson family, acting out the birth of Jesus while Reege provides narration.
