Not sure if roads are icing up, but southbound 35W has become troublesome for drivers in south Minneapolis. We have three crashes between Diamond Lake Road and 66th Street.
One is on the ramp from southbound 35W to eastbound Crosstown. Another is up ahead on the right shoulder at 66th Street.
To the north of the metro, MnDOT says roads are in fair condition. The State Patrol is responding to two separate spin outs on I-35 at the Harris exit and another at Rush City.
The patrol also is handling a crash on Hwy. 97 at Hwy. 61 in Forest Lake.
