Good morning, commuters!
We can expect lighter-than-normal levels of traffic today as many people are off for the Christmas holiday. But for those who do have to head to the office use caution. Mainline roads are generally wet but the overnight dusting of snow has left some slippery spots highways. Beware for icy ramps and bridges. MnDOT lists metro area roads in fair conditions.
We have no crashes or incidents on the roads at this hour.
I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.
If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
